Good news for savers

The banking app Yuh pays like interest on savings

For a long time, negative interest rates on savings were completely normal. Now the joint banking app Yuh from Postfinance and Swissquote is paying interest on savings of up to 25,000 Swiss francs again for the first time.

The banking app Yuh announces that it will start paying interest on savings again from September 1st.

The banking app Yuh, operated jointly by the online bank Swissquote and Postfinance, pays interest on the savings again. From September 1st, all cash holdings of up to 25,000 francs or up to 25,000 euros would again earn 0.25 percent interest, Yuh announced on Monday.

For an amount of up to 25,000 US dollars, savers even receive an interest rate of 0.5 percent. The amounts of the individual currencies for interest can be accumulated, according to the message. At the same time, negative interest rates on assets over CHF 100,000 will also be lifted.
