The acquisition is in line with the intention of increasing market presence in France, Holcim announced on Thursday. The sub-floor is leveled with Chrono Chape smoothing bars for liquid applications, so that carpet or flagstone flooring can subsequently be laid over it.
According to Holcim, the company, which was founded near Dijon in 2005, has grown at double-digit rates in recent years. Financial information on the transaction is not given.
