Boynton is a “proven global CFO with in-depth experience in consumer and B2B collaboration technology,” company boss Bracken Darrell is quoted as saying in the statement. As CFO, he will also promote communication with the international shareholder base.
Most recently, Boynton was reportedly CFO at Platonics and prior to that held senior positions and also served as CFO in the renewable energy business at Sunpower Corporation. As was announced in October, the previous chief financial officer, Nate Olmstead, is leaving the company. He will give up his role when Boynton joins, but will remain available to the company for a transitional period.
In addition to the post of chief financial officer, Logitech has also filled the position of operational chief. Prakash Arunkundrum has been the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO) since January 23. Arunkundrum was previously Head of Operations and Sustainability at Logitech and as a result is already a member of the Executive Board. His area of responsibility includes operations, sustainability, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
