Egyptian investor Samih Sawiris has a minority stake…
The Egyptian investor Samih Sawiris has acquired a minority stake in the traditional Arosa Kulm Hotel. Extensions and new buildings are to be built on the hotel site.
As the Arosa Kulm Hotel announced on Wednesday evening, Sawiris is working together with the investor Urs Wietlisbach, a co-founder of the Partners Group. He had acquired the Graubünden luxury hotel in spring 2022.
No concrete plans
Sawiris and Wietlisbach know each other from joint investments in Andermatt. According to the announcement, there are no concrete plans for the Arosa Kulm Hotel.
The hotel business has a very pleasing occupancy rate. The new owners would thus have time to work out the strategy. (SDA)
