Will Volodymyr Zelenski (44) be in Switzerland in just under three weeks? Not excluded. The President of Ukraine wants to take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, as he announced in his evening video message on Tuesday. According to Selenski, his government is preparing to participate in the WEF. He left it open whether he would like to travel to Davos in person or connect virtually.
Last year, the President of Ukraine sent a video message to the business elite, who exceptionally met in Davos in May because of Corona. Now the World Economic Forum will again take place in the traditional first month of the year – from January 16th to 20th.
Davos would be Selenski’s second trip abroad since the beginning of the war
In 2022, the Klitschkos brothers were already physically present in Davos. Ex-boxing world champion Wladimir Klitschko (46) and Vitali Klitschko (51), mayor of Kyiv, were bickering for financial support for their war-torn homeland.
Also this year there will be a delegation from Ukraine – with President Zelensky? It would be his second trip abroad since the Russian invasion on February 24, 2021, after visiting US President Joe Biden (80) in Washington a week ago.
