The stock market experiences a black Friday.

The restrictive interest rate policy of the central banks and the fear of slipping into a recession weighed on stock markets worldwide on Friday. The Swiss stock exchange continued its descent for the fourth day in a row, with the leading index SMI briefly falling below the 10,100 point mark, i.e. to its lowest level since November 2020.

The bear market doesn’t end there. This is when the share prices of the most important market indices have fallen by more than 20 percent compared to the last high.
