The extremely healthy lentils can be incorporated into many dishes.
Vitamins and iron are important for our health – and beauty. If you want a decent protein content and don’t want a dry scalp, you should put the following edibles on your shopping list.
1. Lentils
Legumes contain a lot of vegetable protein and biotin. The high protein supply goes directly into the cells and thus ensures the structure of the skin and the preservation of hair.
2. Bananas
The banana is full of minerals, such as potassium and magnesium, which are extremely healthy for the body. In addition, 100 g of bananas provide around 1.1 g of protein, despite their high sugar content.
3. Spinach
In addition to a lot of protein, spinach also contains vitamin C, vitamin A and biotin. These substances strengthen hair roots and nails.
4. Pumpkin seeds
The kernels contain a lot of zinc, which strengthens the connective tissue and immune system. Zinc also has a major impact on wound healing and can prevent hair loss. 100 g of pumpkin seeds contain around seven milligrams of zinc, which corresponds to the recommended daily amount for women.
Pumpkin seeds also contain the nutrient iron. It is primarily responsible for transporting oxygen in the blood. Iron deficiency can lead to pale skin, hair loss, brittle nails and dry skin.
5. Salmon
Fish like salmon are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which promote healthy hair growth. In addition, the skin is supplied with moisture and the scalp remains supple.
6. Oatmeal
The breakfast cereals give the hair a special shine because they contain a lot of nutrients. For example calcium, magnesium and iron – these make the flakes good protein suppliers.
7. Nuts
Walnuts and Co. are an ideal snack for in between. With healthy fatty acids, biotin, zinc and vitamin E, they strengthen nails and skin.
