4 biggest mistakes when preparing tiramisu
How about a fluffy tiramisu at Christmas? In order for you to have a dessert like your favorite Italian, you have to pay attention to a few things.

A delicate, wonderfully linear dish. Sweet and light as a feather – Tiramisu.
Anyone who prepares Christmas dinner for the family definitely does not need an additional stress factor. Nevertheless, a dessert should not be missing at the charity festival. Is there no dessert on your menu yet? Then it is definitely a good decision to include a tiramisu in the Christmas menu. The dessert classic is not only very popular in Italy. We love it here too. Because tiramisu can be prepared wonderfully and therefore does not cause a lot of stress in the kitchen. We have a few tricks for you to make the dessert fluffy.
The 4 biggest mistakes when preparing tiramisu
Mistake 1: Too liquid cream
In order for the tiramisu to meet your expectations, the cream must not be too runny. This can happen if the mascarpone is whipped too long and too intensely. This causes the cream to coagulate and run. The cream, on the other hand, should be whipped for a long time – the cream has to be stiff so that your tiramisu gets enough consistency.
Mistake 2: Wrong amount of sugar
It depends on the amount: too much sugar means that the other flavors don’t come into their own. Too little sugar, on the other hand, will make the tiramisu bitter and bland. The sugar dose should be selected based on ladyfingers. If the biscuits already have a light coating of sugar, feel free to use less sugar.
Mistake 3: Use moist cookies
If the cookies get too moist during preparation, the tiramisu will be mushy. To prevent this from happening, you should first let the coffee cool down before immersing it. When the temperature of the coffee has dropped, the biscuits can be drizzled over. If you pour too much liquid on top, the cookies will become too soft.
Mistake 4: incorrect storage
At room temperature, tiramisu can only be kept for a few hours. Ideally, cover the dessert with aluminum foil and put it in the fridge. The tiramisu can be kept like this for up to three days. If you can’t eat it within three days, you can freeze it. In this way, the dessert classic can be kept for up to three months.
