47-year-old dead recovered from Lake Lugano

The body of the man was recovered near the port of Lanchetta, east of the center, the police write in a communiqué. The deceased is Swiss and lived in the Lugano region.

Investigations into the man’s cause of death are ongoing. According to a statement from the Ticino cantonal police, the knowledge gained so far would rule out the possibility of third parties taking action.
