The trio meets at the Manor shopping center in Lugano, and the nervousness quickly disappears. “Christa gave me a very warm welcome, she is personable and natural,” enthuses Grendelmeier. At the top of her wish list is a coat and a designer handbag. “We’ll manage that, you’ll walk out of the store today with a nice new wardrobe,” says Rigozzi.

The presenter makes a good trap as a shopping expert.
Like a whirlwind, the moderator sweeps through the women’s section with the winner. “Although I didn’t know Jeannine before, I immediately understood what she liked,” says Rigozzi. “She takes her time and responds to my wishes and needs,” confirms Grendelmeier. After just a few minutes, the two already have so many items of clothing in their hands that an employee comes around the corner with a clothes rail, laughing and helping.
“My arm was already hurting from carrying it,” Christa Rigozzi jokes and looks forward to the rolling support.
One coat, 20 outfits and one designer piece
“I like fashion and I love combining different pieces,” says Rigozzi. She is now passing this know-how on to her mother of three. “I really enjoy advising Jeannine. She is very open to my inputs.» After a good half hour, the clothes rail is now jam-packed, let’s go to the changing room. “I’ve never changed my clothes so often in such a short time,” says Grendelmeier, laughing. Almost everything that ends up on the clothes rail ends up in the shopping bag. «We have a nice coat that she asked for and about 20 outfits together. That makes at least 30 combinations for spring and autumn,” says Rigozzi.
We continue to the bottom floor, a pretty handbag is still missing. “It would be cool to own a designer piece,” says Grendelmeier. After a short time, the two find what they are looking for. “How about this black handbag from Valentino?” Rigozzi asks. «It goes with every outfit and is a very good investment.» Bought! A few earrings also end up in the shopping cart. “Fortunately, Christa pulls out the credit card and not me,” says our winner, visibly relieved.

2000 francs in two hours. “I don’t normally spend that on fashion in a year,” Grendelmeier marvels. “The shopping tour was great fun,” enthuses Rigozzi. Your job is now done. But the weekend in Lugano is far from over for our shopping queen and her companion. “I’m just overwhelmed and I’m looking forward to a nice evening,” says Grendelmeier.
