Restaurant Chu Garden, Berne
My absolute favorite restaurant for Asian food is the Korean restaurant Chu Garden on Seglichenstrasse in Bern. In addition to very good cuisine, it also impresses with a very cozy ambience and a very hospitable staff. I often eat there with my clients and I heartily recommend it!

Restaurant Schwanen, Lyss BE
At the Chinese restaurant Schwanen on the main street, the price-performance ratio is right. It’s very well-kept, and there’s no Asian junk here.

Restaurant Amami, Walenstadt SG
Small and fine with a lake view: the Amami on Lake Walen!

Restaurant Bamboo, St Gallen
My favorite Asian restaurant is Bamboo. In addition to the cool restaurant on Harzbüchelstrasse, they also offer a delivery service. Bamboo has twice won the award for “Best Restaurant with Delivery Service”. The restaurant has a great selection of Asian classics as well as many authentic Vietnamese traditional dishes. The sushi, which is prepared by Japanese sushi master Hidehiro Maruo at Bamboo, is also incredibly delicious. For me there is no better.

Note d. Red.: The Bamboo has several locations..
Restaurant Hong Kong Dragon, Baar ZG
My favorite address is the Hong Kong Dragon. I’ve been going there for years. I know other Thais or Chinese in German-speaking Switzerland, but none can compete with the one in Baar. The price-performance ratio and the portions are right for me. The service is also very attentive and quick. Highly recommended are the Peking soup, also known as spice soup, the excellent spring rolls with the sweet-and-sour sauce, and my absolute favorite for the main course, the Szechuan-style chicken.

Restaurant Matuya Sushi, Fribourg
For me, the best Asian food is at Matuya Sushi. In addition to sushi, they also serve other very tasty dishes. A small but fine restaurant with very friendly staff.

Restaurant Takrai, Lucerne
For me, the best Asian restaurant in years has definitely been in Lucerne: the Takrai. Everything is freshly cooked there in the wok by native Asians.
– Denis Stirnimann
Restaurant Jialu, Hochdorf LU and Lucerne
In the Jialu restaurant, which is available in Hochdorf and Lucerne, you eat very authentically Asian. Fresh local ingredients are used for cooking. Not only Chinese food is offered, but also dishes from other Asian cuisines – you can also find Thai or Indonesian. I go there regularly and have never been disappointed. And I speak from experience, because I was born in Asia (Java) myself, have traveled to many Asian countries and lived in Tokyo for five years.

Restaurant Winit’s, Zurich
For me, the best Asian restaurant is Winit’s in Wollishofen. There is a beautiful Buddha garden, the staff is always friendly. And the food is just great. Go there, switch off, enjoy!
– Jonas Kistler
Restaurant Ly’s Asia, Zurich
For me, the best Asian restaurant is Ly’s Asia on Cogwheel Street. It has excellent cuisine and the food is always fresh. I have not even eaten as well in Asia as I did there. Since knowing this restaurant, I have eaten there several times a month. Try it – you will love it!

Restaurant Ichiban, Uster ZH
Ichiban is a very good Japanese restaurant. The finest sushi is served here and you can feast à discretion every Wednesday and Sunday evening for CHF 49. Price and performance are simply great. Both thumps up!
– Sibylle Sawesser
Restaurant Thai Country, Rüti ZH
In Thai Country there is very authentic Thai cuisine in a cultivated atmosphere. A quiet place that isn’t as rushed as many others are known to be. Good portions in the normal price segment. Another plus point: large garden restaurant for the summer! Absolutely to recommend!

Restaurant Sweet Moon, Rudolfstetten AG
The best Thai for me is tucked away in a small village in Aargau. The Sweet Moon trumps with a super nice ambience, is small, cozy and stylish. The food is a true taste experience and is freshly prepared by the owner, without flavor enhancers and with a lot of creativity.

Restaurant Krone, Binningen BL
In Binningen there is the restaurant Krone. Kittipon has been running the Thai-style restaurant for well over ten years. The ingredients are imported directly from Thailand and prepared by the Thai chef. In general, only Thais are employed, which gives the whole thing authenticity. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in an Asian style. You can also feast from the buffet at lunchtime on Thursdays. The dishes are simply great, a table reservation is recommended.

Restaurant Tuk Tuk, Basel
The Tuk Tuk restaurant is the absolute best Thai restaurant. Very authentic and just awesome!
