In the spirit of veganuary, Coop has published a study on plant-based nutrition in Switzerland. 2200 people from German-speaking Switzerland, Ticino and Romandy took part. It has been shown that the sale of plant-based alternatives to meat, milk and cheese is steadily increasing. Around 27 percent of those surveyed are substitarians, which means that they eat plant-based substitutes several times a month. The trend towards veganism can also be seen particularly clearly in milk alternatives, which already account for 17 percent of total milk sales. A healthy trend in which nobody has to restrict themselves. Because in addition to the plant-based substitute products, a vegan diet can also be creatively implemented with other foods. Today, you can find a vegan alternative for almost every favorite dish. Those who lack ideas for plant-based cooking and who still need inspiration and suggestions will find what they are looking for in the following cookbooks. They help to broaden horizons and provide the necessary inspiration for a healthier and more climate-friendly lifestyle.
