The holidays with lots of fat and sugary temptations are over. Now the next challenge is coming up: January 6th with the traditional Epiphany cake.
Since the dough of such pastries usually consists of white flour and butter and they are usually decorated with sugar, they should be enjoyed as an exception. If you try your luck on January 6th and eat a piece of our Epiphany cake, you don’t need to worry. We used whole wheat flour in our recipe and added less butter and sugar. This Epiphany cake will cut a fine figure simply because of the richer range of vitamins and minerals as well as important dietary fibers.
