20,000 reward for information on Ana Paula’s killer

The Brazilian prostitute Ana Paula († 31) was found strangled in the Allschwil forest in September 2006. To this day, there is no trace of the perpetrator. Now the public prosecutor’s office is trying again.

Ana Paula (picture) probably met her killer on the street.

On September 2, 2006, a jogger found a naked woman’s corpse in the forest in Allschwil BL. The dead person was the Brazilian prostitute Ana Paula († 31). She had recently been the victim of a crime.

The woman was strangled. The marks on the corpse showed that. DNA traces of the perpetrator were also found on the body. But these could not be assigned to anyone to this day. There is no trace of the murderer. As the Baselland public prosecutor announced on Monday, a reward of CHF 20,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.
