A Rega helicopter took the boy to the hospital (symbol image).
On Sunday shortly before 3 p.m., a 3-year-old boy, accompanied by an adult, first tobogganed on the winter hiking trail from Motta Naluns in Scuol GR in the direction of Prui. The woman got off the sleigh on the way. The boy then picked up speed again with the sled.
The child went left over the edge of the road, crossed a snow-covered meadow and at the end of it fell about six meters over a ledge. The little one sustained internal injuries and a broken bone, as the Graubünden cantonal police wrote in a statement.
The rescue service of the mountain railways, which was supported by a Rega crew, were on duty to provide first aid. Finally, Rega flew the boy to the cantonal hospital in Graubünden in Chur. (noo)
