Cause of deadly fire in Erlinsbach SO clarified

At the beginning of January, a major fire broke out in the Löwen restaurant in Erlinsbach SO. A mother lost her life. Now it is clear how it could have come to this.

In Erlinsbach, Solothurn, the former Löwen restaurant went up in flames on the night of January 7th. The whole building burned out in the fire. The mother († 37) of an eight-year-old daughter died, as “Tele M1” first reported.

The cause of the fire is now clear: the fire started in the apartment of the deceased and is likely to be due to human fault, writes the kapo in a media release. The fire was able to spread from the apartment and subsequently spread to the entire attic. According to forensic examinations, no signs of third-party influence could be found on the deceased.
