A driver came off the road in Sirnach on Monday night and crashed the vehicle into the wall of an underpass. The man was trapped in the car and died at the scene.

A fatal car accident occurred in Sirnach TG.
In Sirnach TG there was a fatal accident on Monday night. A driver who has not yet been identified came off the road on Fischingerstrasse and crashed head-on into the wall of a railway underpass, according to the Thurgau cantonal police.
The man was trapped in the car and injured so badly that he died on the spot. The identity of the deceased has not yet been unequivocally confirmed. The Institute for Forensic Medicine was commissioned by the public prosecutor’s office in Frauenfeld with the identification. (chs)
