An Austrian blindly trusted her navigation system and drove across a meadow in Sulz AG to a playground next to a residential building. According to the canton police, the high alcohol level was also to blame for the straying.

A car came to a standstill in the playground of a residential building.
A drunk driver trusted her navigation device in Sulz AG on Wednesday – and ended up in an empty playground in front of the village school. The 41-year-old Austrian drove 30 meters across a meadow. She had to surrender her driver’s license on the spot.
The school caretaker found the car in the playground shortly before 1:30 p.m., according to the Aargau canton police on Thursday.
There were no injuries in the odyssey of the car driver. Property damage of several thousand francs was caused to the facilities and the vehicle.
The canton police reported the driver to the public prosecutor. She found the driver had a high breath alcohol level. (SDA)
