Huddelwetter and significant precipitation: In parts of the Swiss mountains, the second highest avalanche danger level has been forecast for Friday. It applies to the regions on the northern ridge of the Alps from the Chablais to the Grimsel Pass and to the Lower Valais.
The second highest danger level 4 (large) applies to this region, according to the latest avalanche bulletin from the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF on Thursday. Otherwise there is a considerable avalanche danger (level 3), in Graubünden and in the south often moderate (level 2).
Meteorologists expect nasty weather for the coming days. On the one hand, heavy rainfall is predicted, on the other hand, stormy westerly winds.
