The St. Gallen public prosecutor’s office is filing initial charges against people who are said to have illegally manufactured and sold certificates during the corona pandemic. Those involved are accused of forgery.

A year ago, the St. Gallen public prosecutor arrested ten people who allegedly issued more than 9,000 certificates illegally and demanded large amounts of money for them. The cantonal police formed a special commission and was deployed with more than ten employees. There were more than a dozen house searches.
