There were diversions on the Bern-Olten route: trains from Geneva and Lausanne to Olten, Basel, Lucerne, Zurich, Zofingen and Sursee temporarily ran via Burgdorf.
Passengers from Basel and Zurich to Interlaken Ost traveled via Lucerne. And the traffic from Bern to Lucerne went via Langnau in the Emmental.
