A tree fell on the Lucerne lake promenade on Saturday evening.
Suddenly he was no longer standing upright: on Saturday evening, a tree simply fell over on the lake promenade in Lucerne, not far from the Wilhelm Tell ship restaurant.
The pedestrians present around the promenade quickly noticed that something had happened. Because the power connection to the lamps of the Lilu Light Festival was partially cut.
“Half the lake was suddenly in the dark, before you could see the lights everywhere,” said a reader reporter Blick. A good half of the lamps went out. The festival is supposed to last until January 22nd.
Tree trunk was removed
Police and fire brigade had to move in. The emergency services quickly got to work and secured the scene with barrier tape.
A little later, a vehicle came to take away the tree trunk. Luckily no one was injured in the incident. (nad)
