This is where the incident happened: The district school in Lengnau AG.
There was a scandal at the district school in Lengnau AG last November. A teacher (61) slams a door on her student (13) in the head. Then she gives him two slaps in the face.
As reported by Tele M1, the teacher instructed the student to measure something. However, the teacher felt that it was too loud. The teacher was therefore the collar burst. She stormed out of the room. She slammed the door on the student’s head and then slapped him twice.
But that’s not all: the teacher also calls the student’s parents – and tells them in detail what happened. The mother asked again because she could hardly believe what had happened, reports Tele M1. The teacher then replied: “You would have given him a slap in the face.”
teacher continues to teach
The mother reacted – and reported the teacher. She has since been sentenced to a fine of over CHF 1,000 for multiple assaults. According to the TV report, the decision is final.
Nevertheless, the 61-year-old can continue to teach at the district school in Lengnau. The school management only comments to Tele M1 in writing. The incident was “immediately reported to the legal guardians,” the statement said. The school management, the superior school authorities and the school social worker were also “informed and involved”.
The priority is to offer the young person concerned “a regular school day as quickly as possible and to avoid further escalation”. From the point of view of the school, this was also successful. Otherwise, the school management is vague. “Short-term and long-term measures have been taken” to prevent such an incident in the future.
