In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, two young men were attacked in St. Gallen. One got injured. Police say the two incidents are unrelated.
At 11:45 p.m., a 21-year-old had his smartphone ripped out of his hand on Rosenbergstrasse after four young people wanted to look for the next train connections, as the St. Gallen canton police wrote on Friday.
A 16-year-old Somali from the region was later arrested as the alleged perpetrator. He will now be displayed.
Three quarters of an hour later, a 26-year-old was threatened with a knife on Turmgasse and asked to hand over money. He tried to escape. There was a scuffle, the 26-year-old fell and injured himself. He was able to go to the doctor on his own.
The two strangers fled without taking anything. You are now wanted by the police. (SDA)
