Woman takes man on the steering wheel – car lands in the creek bed
On Tuesday afternoon, a car rolled over into a stream bed on a side street in Zizers GR. Due to an animal, the passenger grabbed the driver’s steering wheel, which led to the accident.

A family of three drove their car on Tuesday, shortly before 2:15 p.m., coming from the cantonal road via Malietastrasse in Zizers GR.
According to the statements of the 34-year-old driver, an animal suddenly jumped across the road from the left. While the man slowed down the vehicle, his 30-year-old wife grabbed the steering wheel. As a result, the car collided with a bridge cordon and a Bündner fence and rolled over into the creek bed.
Family unharmed – car totaled
The parents and the three-year-old daughter were able to free themselves from the vehicle. They were all unharmed, writes the Graubünden cantonal police.
The car was totally damaged and had to be lifted out of the creek bed with a crane and transported away. Based on the assessment of an employee of the Office for Nature and the Environment, no further safety measures had to be taken.
