A VBZ inspector was fully acquitted by the Zurich High Court.

The Zurich High Court has acquitted a former inspector (49) of the Zurich Transport Authority (VBZ). The Swiss was involved in a physical altercation with a dodger in 2018. Prosecutors accused him of attempting to cause serious bodily harm.

The Supreme Court has fully acquitted the accused, as can be seen from the written verdict, which the court published on Thursday. The hearing of the case took place on July 8th. At that time there was a reconciliation between the inspector and the fare dodger. Both withdrew their criminal charges against the other.
