70,052 Ukraine refugees in Switzerland

More than 70,000 Ukraine refugees applied for status S

So far, 70,052 people have fled to Switzerland before the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine and have applied for protection status S. As of Monday, the federal authorities granted 67,621 of them this protection status.

This means that 458 people received protection status more than a week earlier, as the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) announced on Monday on the short message service Twitter

The status S has been ended for 5344 people so far and according to the SEM, 1704 people from Ukraine are being examined to end their status.
