More than 90 percent of the robotics products that ABB sells in China are manufactured in the factory, the company said on the same day. The investment in the production and research site amounts to the equivalent of 150 million dollars.
ABB expects the global robotics market to grow from $80 billion today to $130 billion by 2025. China is the largest robotics market in the world – in 2021 51 percent of the world’s robot systems were installed in the country.
