US car giant Ford with slight decline in sales in 2022

According to its own information, the group sold around 1.86 million new cars in the United States on Thursday.
That was around two percent less than in the previous year. However, Ford did better than many other manufacturers. Analysts from market researcher Wards Intelligence assume that industry-wide US sales in 2022 fell by eight percent to 13.7 million vehicles. That would be the lowest annual figure since 2011.
