Prince Albert (64) seems to patronize his wife Princess Charlène (44): The royal should resort to drastic measures. Because, as the Italian magazine “Milleunadonna” reports, he is said to have taken the car away from her.
Charlène drives it regularly from the palace in Monaco to her summer residence Roc Agel, which is outside the city. The winding journey takes around 20 minutes. Prince Albert is said to be afraid that the route is too dangerous for his wife. Charlène has only been back in Monaco for a few weeks – after a lengthy therapy in Switzerland.
More about Princess Charlène
Prince Alber’s fear is not unfounded: he has already lost his mother, Princess Grace (1929-1982), in a car accident. Because of a minor stroke, she lost control of her car and fell down a 40 meter high cliff.

Millions thanks to marriage deal
How long Princess Charlène will live in Monaco and in the summer residence is currently up for debate. A French magazine recently reported on an explosive marriage deal between the couple. According to this, she should receive twelve million euros per year. In return, she will continue to be present at official representation appointments, but in return she can move to Geneva in the long term, where she has peace and quiet.
She spent the months before her return to Monaco in Switzerland. She went to a clinic in this country “because of physical and emotional” exhaustion, as her husband Prince Albert told the magazine “People”. It was only a few weeks ago that she returned to the Prince’s Palace for Easter.
Even if Charlène lives in Geneva, the children, the twins Jacques and Gabriella (7), should stay in Monaco. There they continue to go to school, according to the “image” they should spend the holidays with their mom. (bnr)
