For years, Alicia Keys (41) and producer husband Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean (43) tried to get rid of their property in New Jersey (USA). Now a buyer has struck. As the “New York Post” reports, the house was sold in February for almost six million francs.
The musician couple has made a big loss! They bought the property in 2013 for twice the price – the then owner and comedian Eddie Murphy (61) received CHF 12.1 million.
Pure luxury on 25,000 square meters
The property features six bedrooms, an indoor pool, bowling alley, movie theater, two elevators and a state-of-the-art recording studio that has produced hits or two.
Since both Keys and Dean are great art lovers, works by renowned artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988), Andy Warhol (1928-1987), Kaws (47) and Maya Hayuk (53) hang on the walls.
New house much more expensive
Alicia Keys and her husband currently live in an even more expensive and luxurious house. You bought the Razor Shark property for CHF 20.5 million. The mansion was built on the steep cliffs of La Jolla, a posh suburb north of San Diego.
The futuristic building, which was built into a rock, is based on Tony Stark’s Razor Point, Malibu Lair Mansion from the film “Iron Man”. At 1,021 square meters, the property is smaller but all the more spectacular than the one in New Jersey. (fmu)
