Brutal details at Weinstein’s trial
Harvey Weinstein’s trial is currently underway in Los Angeles. The Hollywood mogul faces five counts of sexual abuse.
Harvey Weinstein is currently facing trial in a Los Angeles court.
All eyes in Hollywood are currently on the trial of Harvey Weinstein (70). The ex-movie mogul is on trial for allegedly sexually assaulting five women in Los Angeles hotels between 2004 and 2013. He faces a maximum sentence of 135 years in prison. He had previously been sentenced to 23 years in prison in another trial in New York. Only day four of the hearings in California is currently over, but that was tough too.
The dancer Ashley M., who starred in the Weinstein-produced film “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights”, was responsible for the descriptions. According to “Bild”, she was called to the witness stand in room 110 at around 2:42 p.m. and almost immediately began to cry and tremble. She was dressed completely in black, behind her sat an employee of Victims Services, who support and accompany victims of abuse and rape.

Gwyneth Paltrow was able to avert the horror experience
The dancer only managed with great difficulty to tell what happened to her as a 22-year-old during the shooting in Puerto Rico in 2003. “Harvey spoke of a nude massage and said that he would have done it with Gwyneth Paltrow and that it was good for her career,” she said on the witness stand.
Paltrow (50) himself made this incident public in 2017. Weinstein gave the then 22-year-old a role in the film “Shakespeare in Love” – in 1999 she received the Oscar for it. Before filming, he summoned Paltrow to his suite at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel, put his hands on hers, and suggested they go into the bedroom to give each other a massage. “I was a kid, I had just signed the contract, I was petrified,” Paltrow later said. But she refused and left the room.
“I was scared to death, but I was just glad that I wasn’t raped”
The incident with Ashley M. ended less lightly. “Harvey got aggressive and threw me on the bed. He ripped my top and bra off my body,” says the alleged victim. Weinstein then undressed in the hotel room and masturbated in front of the young woman. “He said it’s okay because we’re not having sex. He ejaculated on my breasts and face. I was scared to death, but I was just glad that I wasn’t raped, »said the dancer.
Weinstein didn’t look at her during her statement, the film producer reportedly seemed disinterested and rubbed her face with her hands. The descriptions caused an “embarrassed silence” in the courtroom, and judge Lisa B. Lench then ended the session at around 4:10 p.m. The verdict is not expected until December. (imh)
