Jill Lange’s tears come when she reports on the “DSDS” casting.
Dieter Bohlen (68) is known for his cheeky sayings. But with his “DSDS” comeback, he has exceeded the limits of good taste, as many fans find. In a tearful statement, reality TV star Jill Lange (22) addressed her followers. The German criticized the fact that Bohlen asked her whether she had done something “normal” in life or just graduated from high school and then “let herself be noodled”?
The background: Jill Lange was seen in trash TV shows like “Are You The One” and “Ex on the Beach”, which Bohlen calls “scrap”. In programs that belong to RTL, just like “DSDS”, she had sex several times.
RTL justifies broadcast
The indignation that Bohlen asks intrusive questions in front of the camera and makes disparaging remarks about the sex life of the “DSDS” candidate is great on social media. However, RTL sees no problem in the heavily criticized scenes.
In a statement available to the German newspaper “Bild”, the TV broadcaster writes: “In the context of the discussion about Jill’s dating show experiences, we saw no reason to cut the dialogue from the show. (…) Jill could have left the competition at any time if she felt she was being treated unfairly – but she didn’t do that.”
Dieter Bohlen has not yet commented on the allegations. He only shared an Instagram story from a user in which Jill referred to Lange as “unscrupulous”. She is also accused of considering herself known because she took part in “Bums formats”.
The “DSDS” episode with Jill Lange can be seen on RTL on Wednesday evening at 8:15 p.m. (bnr)
