Royal fans, critics and perhaps the British royal family are eagerly awaiting the day when the documentary about Prince Harry (38) and his wife Meghan (41) will be broadcast on Netflix.
Now the streaming service is providing a little foretaste and Prince William (40) and Princess Kate (40) should be particularly angry. The trailer for “Harry & Meghan” is not even a minute long and is already causing massive explosives.
Picture of Kate and William causes drama
The first few seconds are dedicated to the couple themselves and show beautiful, happy pictures of two people who are deeply in love. The imagery changes: you see a crying Meghan, a worried Harry and what is probably the most provocative of the whole clip: a picture of William and Kate during the Commonwealth Day mass in March 2019. The Prince and Princess of Wales are looking maliciously at the camera, behind them you can see Harry and Meghan, the latter looks sad, almost worried to her sister-in-law.
The Duchess of Sussex was pregnant at the time. Then Harry’s voice rings out: “I had to do everything I could to protect my family,” says King Charles III’s son. (74).
Fans can hardly wait – critics sense calculation
After a few more dramatic images, Meghan can be heard talking and this sentence will cap the drama that is to be expected: “When there’s so much at stake, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
The comments are pouring out on social networks. As well as those who can’t wait, others also accuse Harry and Meghan of carefully planning the trailer’s timing. “Just as the Diana season of ‘The Crown’ has launched and Kate and William are going on tour. That’s calculating, »writes someone on Twitter. A user commented on Instagram: “Of course they included a picture of Kate and William in the clip to cause even more drama.”
Netflix closes the trailer without revealing a start date for the documentation and only reveals so much: “Coming soon”.
