Actually, Brittany Dixon just wanted to advertise her art on Tiktok. But the Australian suddenly went viral. The reason for this is her royal doppelganger. Her followers find that she is Duchess Kate (40) cut out of her face.
For comparison, Dixon posted a video where she juxtaposed her pictures with Kate’s. The comments on it are teeming with encouragement. “You always seemed familiar to me, now I know where from,” writes a fan. Another notes: “You look like sisters.” The resemblance gives her subscribers an idea: “We just have to see you in ‘The Crown’, no one is more like Kate than you.”
She sent a 30-second video to Netflix
In fact, the Netflix series seems to have piqued her interest. Dixon happily announced to her fans in a clip: “Guys, I applied! I would have
didn’t expect my video to get so much attention.” It has now been viewed more than half a million times. The creators of the series would have asked for a selfie, something about her person and a 30-second video, the artist reveals.
In the application video, Dixon talked about her passion for painting. “Let’s see how it goes and if they watch the video at all,” she continues. In the meantime, she is concentrating on her art again. Dixon also thanks her fans for the kind words and for always encouraging her.
No acting experience necessary
Although Dixon is not a professional actress, she has a chance at the job. Because the streaming service is currently looking for young actors for the sixth season of “The Crown”. In last month’s casting call, they stressed that acting experience is not a requirement for landing the roles. The roles of Prince William (39), Prince Harry (40) and Duchess Kate must be filled by August. Then the shooting for the new season will begin. (mso/bsn)
