“No one knows the truth – except us”: This is how Print Harry (38) concludes the trailer for his Netflix documentary, which he released together with Duchess Meghan (41) on Thursday. In the preview of the explosive six-part series, the filmmakers don’t seem to be taking it too seriously either. According to “The Sun”, many scenes were installed that have nothing to do with the Sussexes.
The trailer shows paparazzi following the Sussexes. In truth, the scene was not taken with the renegade royals, but shows the photographers waiting for British reality star Katie Price (44) in December 2021. Prince Harry says during the scene: “I was very afraid – I didn’t want to , that history repeats itself», referring to the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997). It seems the paparazzi are after the two. But they are not the ones shown in the picture.
In one scene, it appears that the Sussexes were being surveilled in a house. The pictures show the couple from above, Duchess Meghan carries her son Archie (3) in her arms. However, it wasn’t a situation where the couple didn’t know they were being watched. It was the 2019 visit to Archbishop Desmond Tutu (1931–2021) in Cape Town and was covered by the media.
One picture shows a limousine surrounded by media people. Then Duchess Meghan appears with tears in her eyes. The Sussexes were not sitting in the previously shown car, but Donald Trump’s ex-lawyer (76). Michael Cohen (56) was on his way to court in 2019.
The wait is finally over: The first trailer of the Harry and Meghan documentary is here(01:14)
The lively media interest in the couple is shown in a scene in the teaser for the documentation. Just stupid: The many photographers shown in the trailer were not there for Meghan and Harry. The footage was recorded at a Harry Potter premiere in London in 2011.
Also in the teaser is a picture of Harry trying to stop a paparazzi from taking a picture with his hand. It seems as if he would also want to protect Duchess Meghan from the snapshot at his side. However, the former actress is not in the original picture, but Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy (37). She was cut out of the picture from 2007.
The inserted scenes are not well received by the British. “The inaccurate work underscores the validity of what Harry and Meghan are trying to say. It makes them the object of ridicule,” says Ingrid Seward of “Majesty” magazine. “If you want to criticize the monarchy, you have to make sure that everything you say or do is absolutely correct.” Royal author Robert Jobson says: “They say the camera never lies, but it really depends on where and in what context the image is used.”
