Calls Epstein affair “shameful scandal”
Harry is the first royal to publicly criticize his uncle Andrew
The Royals apparently measure with two cubits. Prince Harry’s bodyguard was axed. Meanwhile, Prince Andrew, who has fallen out of favor over a sex scandal, will continue to be protected at palace expense. In his memoir, Harry shoots his uncle live.

The outcast attacks the outcast: Prince Harry (38) is the first royal to publicly criticize his uncle Prince Andrew (62) for the first time. The disgraced Andrew paid hush money to Briton Virginia Giuffre (39) last year. Andrew is said to have accepted love services from the then underage Giuffre in 2001 through the convicted US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein († 66).
Giuffre reached an out-of-court settlement with Andrew last year. She must remain silent about the abuses. In his biography “Spare”, published Tuesday, Harry doesn’t hold anything back from badmouthing his uncle.
“People had many reasons to complain about us,” writes the Windsor Royal. “Sex crimes weren’t one of them.” Harry calls Andrew’s Epstein affair a “shameful scandal”.

“Never”
Harry is particularly bothered by the fact that Andrew continues to enjoy privileges that have been taken from him. So Harry and his family no longer have a bodyguard paid by the palace. Andrew, on the other hand, does. Although he was accused of twice sexually abusing a 17-year-old. It was apparently never an issue at Buckingham Palace to cut Andrew’s bodyguards because of this.
According to Harry, his wife Meghan (41) asked him if they would continue to have security personnel after the break with his family. In any case, he definitely answered. There is an “obligation” and an “applicable promise” to protect royals, the “Daily Mail” quotes in advance from Harry’s memoirs.
Security personnel will “never” be removed, Harry was certain. “Especially not after what happened to my mother,” said the Duke of Sussex – and adds: “Not even after the fuss about my Uncle Andrew”. Despite the scandal, he is still protected by bodyguards. (kes)
