US actress Cindy Williams († 75) died unexpectedly. She had a “brilliant sense of humor”, quoted the broadcaster CNN and the “Hollywood Reporter”, among other things from the statement. Her 2004 Walk of Fame star was to be decorated with flowers to commemorate her, according to the star plaque awarders in Hollywood.
Williams celebrated his first film successes in the 1970s under the direction of George Lucas (78) in “American Graffiti” and in the crime thriller “The Dialogue” by Francis Ford Coppola (83) alongside Gene Hackman (93). She became known through the sitcom “Laverne & Shirley”, which was a hit in the USA from 1976 to 1983. Williams and the actress and director Penny Marshall (1943-2018) thrilled as friends and roommates who work in a brewery.
