Michelle Hunziker is looking forward to her life as a nonna.
When Michelle Hunziker (45) speaks Bern German, there is not much left of the moderator from Italian television who was so turned on. Slower, deeper and calmer, but no less radiant, she talks about her future as Nonna in the SRF society magazine “Gesichter und Stories”.
“Finally! In April I will be grandmother. It’s a dream that’s coming true for me, that after three daughters I finally have a boy on the changing table,” says Hunziker and laughs out loud. Her eldest daughter Aurora Ramazzotti (26) and her partner Goffredo Cerza (26) will be mothers to their first child in a few months. Hunziker’s interlocutor, moderator Jennifer Bosshard (29), digs deeper and wants to know how she is preparing for her role as Nonna.
Harmony in Hunziker’s blended family
Somehow she still feels like a mother, since her two youngest daughters Sole and Celeste are still very small at nine and seven years old. “And Aurora is only 19 years younger than me. And that’s why it’s even nicer. She knows that I will be very much there and she can always bring the child to me. I’ll be a present grandma!”
For Christmas, Nonna Michelle wishes above all time with her loved ones: “It’s always a big challenge when you have a blended family.” She wants to create harmony among her loved ones, which is a real challenge that she works on all year round. “But I did it! I will organize two big parties. At home, but with all the people who are important to me.”
Finally matching gifts for daughter Aurora
And she’s had the gifts for her little rascals ready since the summer. “I look all year round to see if I see anything that reminds me of someone, so I’m well prepared.”
Daughter Aurora is usually the one who has the hardest time finding a gift, admits Michelle Hunziker. ‘But maybe it’ll be a little easier now. Now you can give lots of baby things!” (grb)
