Gigi Birofio (23) can breathe easy. For several days it was unclear whether TV Casanova would have to cancel its participation in the jungle camp. Because the reality TV star tested positive for the corona virus in Australia. RTL is now giving the all-clear: Birofio is allowed to move into the jungle. His last test was negative.
The German rates his chances of victory as high, as Blick reveals. With the jungle crown, there is another 100,000 euros on top of the actual fee. According to “Bild”, he gets between 30,000 and 50,000 euros. That was also the decisive point for him to take part in the jungle camp at all. “I’m participating because the money tastes good and because it’s the best show you can go to in Germany. You can really prove yourself there. Let’s see how tough I can be, »he explains Blick.
The biggest challenges for him are that he gets so little to eat – and his gag problems. He is therefore particularly afraid of a kind of jungle test. «Anything to do with the taste of fish. So not from the animals themselves, but from the smell and taste. Catastrophe.”
Gigi Birofio wants to hold back with women
Until now, Birofio was known as a TV Casanova who liked to flirt with women. In the jungle camp, however, he wants to hold back, even if he likes a fellow camper. Normally he would go straight on the offensive, “but since I’m just getting to know someone, I’ll take a few steps back.” The woman is said to be ex-“Love Island” candidate Dana Feist (26). He recently shared pictures with her on his Instagram story.
He didn’t come to an agreement with her. “But I wouldn’t do anything big with other women either. So I behave quite normally, the way you behave when you meet someone », says Birofio. When asked if he particularly likes a candidate, he jokes: “Yes, if I were wearing a wig, I would like myself a lot.”
“I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” can be seen on RTL on Friday from 9.30 p.m.
