Riley Keough is the eldest daughter of the late musician Lisa Marie Presley.
Her death is still a mystery. On January 12, Lisa Marie Presley († 54) suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles. And although she could be resuscitated, the musician died a few hours later in the hospital. Presley left three children. Her twins Finley and Harper (both 14) and her granddaughter Riley Keough (33) from her first marriage to Danny Keough, her former bassist.
Riley is a successful actress and was on good terms with her mother, who is buried next to her son and Riley’s brother, Benjamin Keough (1993-2020). He took his own life in 2020 at the age of 27. The graves of Elvis Presley’s (1935-1977) daughter and grandson are in the private cemetery at Graceland Ranch, the rock legend’s estate. There her children, together with many other companions of Presley, say goodbye to the singer on January 22nd.
Celebrity friends support Riley Keough
Riley Keough spoke up on Instagram today, Saturday. There she posted a black and white picture with her mother. Among them, numerous celebrities condoled to the actress. Salma Blair (50) writes: “The beautiful Riley with her beautiful mom, who is now an angel” and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (35) comments: “I think of you so much!”
The fate of teenage twins Finley and Harper was initially uncertain until a week after Lisa Marie Presley’s death. Now, however, the American online portal “TMZ” reports that custody of the girls goes to their father, the musician Michael Lockwood (61), citing friends of the Presley family.
Presley’s twins want to live with their father
“The children have made it clear themselves that they want to live with their father full-time. They have lived with Michael since their mother died and are comfortable,” the source says. Child Welfare Services should agree, as Michael Lockwood has shared custody of Finley and Harper since the couple split in 2016. “Hell would have to freeze over before he would give up the children. But there shouldn’t be any big discussions about it,” the informant continued. (grb)
