In an interview with CBS host Anderson Cooper, Prince Harry promoted his biography “Reserve”.
The Duke of Sussex weibelt for his biography “Reserve”, which is originally called “Spare”. In two interviews with the British broadcaster ITV and the American format “60 Minutes”, Prince Harry (38) again unpacked explosive details about his family. Especially his stepmother, king’s wife Camilla (74), got under the wheels.
In an interview, CBS presenter Anderson Cooper (55) addresses the allegations that the renegade Royal made against his father’s second wife, King Charles III. (73) rises and Prince Harry follows suit. He describes his stepmother as “dangerous”. This is because she “has the desire to change her public image”. The trigger for this was the explosive interview that Princess Diana (1961-1997) gave in 1995. In it, the ex-wife of today’s king said the legendary sentence: “There were three of us in this marriage.” She was referring to Camilla, who had an affair with Charles for decades.
Prince Harry is convinced that his mother’s admission made the now royal consort a “wicked person” in the public eye, who subsequently deliberately colluded with the British press to redeem herself.
King’s wife accepts “sacrifices”.
Camilla exchanges inside information with the media in exchange for positive reports about her person. The Duke of Sussex goes even further, saying: “It is an open secret that both sides were willing to trade inside information. In a family that functions hierarchically and with Camilla on the way to becoming a king consort, you accepted that there would be sacrifices.”
In his book, out January 10, Prince Harry paints an uncharming picture of his stepmother. Shortly after meeting her stepsons for the first time, Camilla began to implement her long-term strategy, which would first lead her to the marriage with then Prince Charles and finally to the crown.
“Many small details” came to the British media
“Of course it all happened with our father’s blessing,” says Harry, adding: “After that there was constant news in all the newspapers about conversations she had with Willy. News that contained many small details, which of course my brother did not pass on.” Prince William (40), whom Harry calls “Willy” privately, begged his father not to marry Camilla.
