The allegations against Prince Harry are piling up after the publication of his memoirs.
Almost a month after the publication of his autobiography “Reserve”, things are not calming down for Prince Harry (38). A few days ago, Butler Paul Burrell (64), who worked for Harry’s mother Princess Diana (1961-1997), spoke about the prince – especially that Harry had been disadvantaged as a child.
Now a former guard follows suit and continues to crumble the image of the royal. The man, who is not named, reports to the British “Sun” about an embarrassing event: The Duke of Sussex fell in 2012 after a night of drinking and enough residual alcohol in a guard house at St. James Palace in London – he had accidentally triggered an alarm.
When three soldiers looked for things to be done, they found the then 27-year-old prince. “He was a wreck, he was lying on the ground and drooling on himself,” one of the soldiers recalls the scene. Afterwards, Prince Harry showed little cooperation and is said to have even insulted the men. He then urged the soldiers to keep the incident secret when they made fun of him.
«Social hand grenade»
Sauer also noticed that a former comrade said Prince Harry had spoken in “Reserve” during his time in Afghanistan. In a passage from the book, the royal admits, among other things, to having killed 25 Taliban. In this context, the soldier described him to the “Sun” as a “social hand grenade” – these are topics “that you never talk about as a soldier”. (read)
