Sad news for all fans of alternative rock band Panic! At the Disco: On the official Instagram channel, singer Brendon Urie (35) announced that he was leaving the group he joined as a singer in 2004. Urie gave the reason that he was soon to become a father: “The prospect of becoming a father and seeing my wife become a mother makes me humble and excited. I look forward to this next adventure. So I’m going to close this chapter of my life and focus completely on my family, and that’s going to be Panic! Don’t give at the disco any more.”

Last was Panic! At the Disco has been Urie’s solo project after various members left the Las Vegas group over the years. With hits like “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, the rock band achieved international fame and received various awards.
