The British royals have shown themselves relaxed in their first public appearances since the publication of Prince Harry Harry’s (38) memoirs. They tried to smile away the violent allegations of the past few days and acted as if nothing had happened.
Harry’s older brother, Prince William (40), and his wife, Princess Kate (41), who were heavily criticized in the book entitled “Spare” (in German: “Reserve”), appeared on Thursday at the opening of a new university clinic at Liverpool. They smiled and waved at the onlookers.
Also King Charles III. (74), who visited a community center in the Scottish community of Aboyne on Thursday, gave no sign. Pictures showed him joking and laughing with the local people in the usual way.
Serious allegations against the Royal Family
The book was released on Tuesday. Many of the details had already been made public. Harry (38) gives an unprecedented insight into life behind the palace walls. He also does not skimp on criticism of his family. In addition to Prince William, he makes serious allegations against King Charles’ wife, King’s wife Camilla (75). He also accuses the royals in general and the palace employees of having fed the tabloids with information about him and his wife Meghan (41). The royal family has not yet commented on the allegations.
Spicy details also caused astonishment: The Royal writes, among other things, about his first time in a field behind a pub, his circumcision and sex in the hotel. (SDA/bnr)
