Swiss celebrities celebrate King Wicki
The Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival (ESAF) kept Switzerland in suspense over the weekend and the joy with King Wicki Joel after the last course in Pratteln was great. Even with the celebrities present.

Central Switzerland is celebrating: Joel Wicki (25) from Entlebuch swings himself to the king during the last course at the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival (ESAF) on Sunday evening.
One who suffered, cheered and celebrated was the Lucerne singer Kunz (35). He shared his joy that a member of the Swiss wrestling association was able to receive the winning muni with his fans on Instagram.
He writes: “Of course I’m very happy that after 36 years we have a king from Central Switzerland again. Much deserved dear Joel, simply great performance, also from the whole ISV team. » Kunz surprised the fans who followed the last course with him in the stands with a serenade when his song “Mitenand” was played in the arena.

Trauffer (43) also found nice words. The musician met the new king in 2019, as he says in his Instagram post. Trauffer sang at the ESAF in Zug after Wickis lost the final run at his welcome party in Sörenberg.
Trauffer met “that evening an incredibly fair sportsman, a down-to-earth mountaineer and an affable and friendly person. I take my hat off to you, Joel Wicki. These nerves must be made of steel,” Trauffer continues. He congratulates the “well-deserved king from central Switzerland”.
