After throwing an egg at King Charles III. a young Briton has been fined £100 (around €112) by a London court.

He will also have to pay £85 in court costs. The 21-year-old pleaded guilty at Friday’s hearing. According to his lawyer, he deeply regrets the act.
The man had thrown an egg at the king during the visit to the north London city. After his arrest, he told the police that he had found the monarch’s visit to the “poor and socially disadvantaged” city to be “in bad taste”.
“Whatever disagreements you have with someone, the solution cannot be to hurl projectiles at each other,” said Judge Paul Goldspring. Although he believes the 21-year-old that he Charles III. did not want to hit, but it was a “planned and targeted attack”.
Second egg thrower on bail
Barely four weeks before the egg attack in Luton, Charles III. and his wife Camilla were also pelted with eggs during a visit to York in northern England. This just missed the royal couple. “This country was built with the blood of slaves,” cried the egg thrower, who was arrested by the police shortly afterwards. He is accused of “threatening behavior” and his trial is scheduled to begin on January 20. He is currently out on bail.
Charles III had succeeded his deceased mother at the beginning of September. He is less popular than Queen Elizabeth II, who was downright adored by many Brits.
