Berset wants to turn building culture into a climate protection instrument

Federal President Alain Berset wants to turn building culture into an instrument against global warming. Good building culture has never been as important as it is today, he said in front of around 20 European culture ministers in Davos GR on Sunday.

A high level of building culture is indispensable when it comes to quickly creating the energy transition and slowing down climate change, said Berset on Sunday in his opening speech at the two-day building culture conference on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The aim of the conference is to promote exchange between the private sector, civil society and politics by founding a building culture alliance. A corresponding founding document is to be signed on Monday.
