Switzerland is setting an excellent example, WTO boss Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala told the media in Davos on Friday. The Federal Department of Economics, Education and Research (EAER) announced that Switzerland could contribute to the positive effects of the agreement by ratifying it quickly.
The agreement aims to put an end to harmful fisheries subsidies. The ratification was announced on Friday in Davos as part of an informal meeting of trade ministers of the WTO, to which Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin had invited.
