Like before Christmas in Engelberg, Simon Ammann is struggling to return to the World Cup.
The 41-year-old double Olympic champion from 2002 and 2010 fails again in the qualification for ski flying in Austria at the Kulm. Ammann touched down after 128 m and finished 55th.
The Swiss Gregor Deschwanden (17th / 200.5 m) and Dominik Peter (30th / 173 m), on the other hand, can take off again on Saturday. The first to qualify, Stefan Kraft, landed on Friday in Bad Mitterndorf, Styria, at 233 m. (SDA)
